One Thing I Did When Training My Dog’s Recall
Once her recall steps and skills were trained…
I wouldn’t always practice lots of recalls on walks.
Instead, I would take her to a busy place, like a park and I would practice one recall only for a seriously high reward. Something she wasn’t expecting, like a whole steak! That’s it. Training session done that day.
One recall.
Mega reward.
They don’t forget those things.
